Feature & Follow #12

Feature and Follow is a blog hop hosted by Parajunkee & Alison Can Read. The purpose is to meet new people and gain more followers in the book blogging community.

Q: When you step out of your usual genre what do you like to read? Best books in that genre?

A: That's a hard question for me because I don't really have a usual genre. I switch around. Sometimes I'll read a contemporary book and then the next day I'll be reading a book about vampires. I don't really read many mysteries even though I love mystery books. I just can't seem to find any good young adult mystery books. Actually I used to only read paranormal books but this year I've read more contemporary books. My favorite would have to be The Fault in Our Stars by John Green.

What about you?
Please follow and leave a link to your post so I can follow back!

  5. Me too! I don't have a favorite genre either so whenever someone asks it's hard to answer so I say," ALL of them!"

    1. I think that reading only one genre would get kind of boring.

  6. I also don't like to restrict myself to one single genre!! That would be so claustrophobic!
I love John Green and if you want to read YA mysteries then have you tried Agatha Christie's Hercule Poirot series? They are amazing. Also, Suzy Cox's The Dead Girl Detective Agency might be right up your alley!!

  7. I have recently started reading more Contemporary Fiction and enjoyed a few of them. But I guess adult fiction would be where I got the most out of my usual genre...
